Mimicking Mars was co-founded by James Dawson, Jeremy Lanuti, and Josh LeViseur in 2020. The psychedelic indie rock band has spent the past 4 years displaying their infectious energy, compelling melodies, and groovy rhythms, having played at venues such as The Westcott Theater, The Lost Horizon, and Wonderland Forest.
Alongside being the lead guitar player of the band, James has taken on many of the supporting roles for the group. One of his top responsibilities is booking shows, reaching out to various venues and artists, and forming relationships within the industry. James also manages the bands social media presence, forming the bands brand. In 2023 James developed mimickingmars.com and regularly manages the page, updating show dates, announcements, and the bands EPK.
